Wise-Sync General Release - 7 September 2020
This release is a big one for us. It includes the migration to OAuth 2.0 for our Xero integration, some Invoice Sync fixes for our Autotask customers, as well as some expense sync fixes for our ConnectWise customers.
Xero OAuth 2.0 migration
Wise-Sync for Xero now uses OAuth 2.0 for authorisation tokens with our Xero services. All of the Xero tokens have now been migrated to OAuth 2.0 tokens. This is a move towards continuing to provide greater security with stronger encryption and aligning with Xero changes to their new login experience.
The only minor difference you will see is in the Xero connection screen, as shown below:
What do I do if my Xero is disconnected?
Your company should remain connected and we don't expect there will be any connection issues. In the unlikely case that Xero is disconnected, you will need to reconnect your Company. For information, see Reconnecting your Company.
Better handling for Autotask Credit Invoices
We have added handling when syncing an Autotask credit invoices (invoices that contains a negative quantity or amount) for those times you want to issue credit for your services.
Other Updates
- For Autotask Invoices, handling has been added for cases where there is a mismatch between the billable and original billable amount on an invoice. These amounts are being rounded.
- For our ConnectWise customers using the New ConnectWise Mobile App to submit expenses with attach expense documents, we are now able to sync these expense attachments to your Accounting Package.
- Also for ConnectWise expense customers, expense attachments must be no greater than 3.5MB. This is as a result of a change to file size limits that can be uploaded through the API.
- Further iteration to the Monthly Sync Statistics numbers.
