Syncing QBO Classes from ConnectWise Manage

Classes inside QuickBooks Online are used to more granularly track where income is coming from. The Wise-Sync integration for ConnectWise Manage and QuickBooks Online allows information to be mapped to classes. The integration additionally allows for Sales Rep mapping.

QuickBooks Online Class Mapping

  1. Confirm Class setup inside QuickBooks Online 
  2. Confirm Class Tracking is enabled inside Wise-Sync settings. Confirm ‘Enable tracking classes’ is selected in Company settings
  3. Navigate to the ConnectWise Manage GL Account Setup Table (System > Setup Tables > GL Account Setup Table)
  4. Locate the Account Mappings you wish to associate a class to
  5. Enter the Class into the Tracking 1 field, and sub-class (if applicable) into the Tracking 2 field

Classes can be mapped at more specific levels than your accounts are, and the system will associate the correct account mapping and the correct class mappings. For example, if the Revenue account mapping is done at the Groups level, you could create more granular mappings for class (with the account left out) and the invoice will post the income to the right account and associate it to the correct class:
