Set up Wise-Sync Users (ConnectWise)

Wise-Sync User Accounts need to be created for people that need to use Wise-Sync. Wise-Sync User Accounts are different to a person's PSA and Accounting Package Accounts. You can manage your Wise-Sync User Account details, store your ConnectWise/Autotask credentials so they can sync transactions. During the onboarding process, the user can connect their Google Account to be able to share files with Wise-Sync.

Note:

Before you can create new users, make sure you have configured your Wise-Sync Account.

How do I get there?

To configure Wise-Pay User Accounts, click Users from the top Menu. A list of users will be displayed.

Note: If you can't see this option, you don't have permission to maintain users. Contact your Account Administrator.

Once you have set the User's role when creating the user, you can't change it. Account Administrators can contact Wise-Sync Support to change it.

Warning: Disabling a Wise-Sync User assigned to a Wise-Pay Proxy

You are currently unable to delete Wise-Sync users who are allocated to a Wise-Pay Proxy/PayNow Link/Email Link. If you wish to remove or disable a Wise-Sync user, you can do this by navigating to 'Users', click on the relevant username, then clicking on the 'Disable Account' button at the bottom of the screen.

In the instance where a Wise-Sync user has been disabled and this user is also assigned to a Wise-Pay Proxy/PayNow Link/Email Link, the Wise-Pay Proxy/PayNow Link/Email Link will be made inactive. This means, your customers will be unable to use that proxy. A new proxy will need to be configured. For more information on how to configure a Wise-Pay proxy see, Payment Services.
