Wise-Sync and Wise-Pay are hosted on AWS servers located in Australia, servers are behind Elastic Load Balancers (ELB). Listed are the configurations required to enable connection to and transmission of data between our servers:
Who does this affect
ConnectWise On Premise customers who have configured firewall restrictions that prevent connection from the Wise-Sync / Wise-Pay applications.
GEO IP Blocking
If you are blocking internet traffic based on geographic region, you must allow traffic from Australia for inbound and outbound connections.
NAT Gateway
Wise-Sync and Wise-Pay are hosted on AWS, behind Elastic Load Balancers (ELB) networks. Listed below are the IP addresses required to allow inbound connection requests:
- IP: 52.62.242.176/32
SSL and Cryptography Requirements
Wise-Sync and Wise-Pay use standard SSL communication methods; however to ensure compliance with current security protocols we may not be able to connect to servers which are not up to current standards in terms of SSL configuration. We recommend partners scan using SSL Labs and refer to the following article for more information on securing your servers (KB Article).
- Access Port: 443
- SSL Connection (Handshake: TLS1.2)
- Preferred Cryptography Ciphers: TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_GCM_SHA384 (0xc030)
